Melanie Faith
Melanie Faith is a photographer, poet, essayist, and educator. Architecture, nature, Americana kitsch and ephemera inspire her camera. Her essay, Time Tested, Culture Approved, published by Shape of a Box in Oct. 2009, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her current poetry chapbook, Bright, Burning Fuse, was published by Etched Press in Dec. 2008. She is a tutor at a private college-preparatory high school in Pennsylvania and also teaches poetry writing courses online. In summer 2009, she photographed and journaled her way through Italy, Spain, and France; Morocco and New Zealand top her future artistic wish-list.
