Decisions

It has been a busy week, inside and outside of Referential Magazine.

On our guidelines page, I note a few features that you may or may not be familiar with.

For example: we take audio, video and multi-media referrals but we’ve yet to receive any (I take that back on video, I have something in my inbox to review). Do you think having multi-media referrals is a good idea?

We also set up an Editor’s Challenge (example at the bottom if you click through) but not many people participated so I have debated whether or not we should keep that feature. What do you think?

I am also considering adding my old YouTube magazine Shape of a Box to the Referential archives. I can also use that YouTube channel for new referral videos. Thoughts on these ideas?

We love having a community here at Referential so I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Hi Jessie,

I think your idea regarding “Shape of a Box” is an excellent one…one I would definitely look forward to.

    Have a great weekend! Andrea

  2. I do like the idea of keeping multimedia referrals open, and also think would be wonderful to add ‘Shape of the Box’ to the archives. I’m not an editor, so I’ll refrain from commenting on that one …

  3. Thanks for your input guys! I have tried several times to find a new home for “Shape” but perhaps it just needs to stay with me 🙂

  4. i also like the idea of multi-media — but i’m a visual person and, i think, a visual poet. i need the images!!

  5. I love images! I think they create inspiration and complement writing.
