Ring in the New Year

No I’m not late to ring in the new year! Why not celebrate January 1st and/or Chinese New Year all over again with regular contributor Rose Auslander’s poem New Year’s Rush which refers from the word kissed in Laura McCullough’s poem The lips were the worst.

P.S. Don’t forget we are still reading for featured submissions until 2-9-12 in all written genres!

P. P. S. Referred submissions welcome year round 🙂

  1. Nobody reanidg this blog is on the reverse side of the equation. The people submitting this stuff have never seen VQR in their lives, have no idea of what a lit mag is, and certainly aren’t reanidg literary blogs. It’s really ghastly work.

  2. Not sure if the newest comment is spam or not so I thought I’d leave it up to see if the commenter wanted to discuss. Which works – that we publish here – are oh do ghastly?
